Re-Coating floors is meant to remove surface scratches and help bring back the shine of your floor. The traditional way to re-coat a floor would be by using a sanding screen to abrade the floor and go over it with a coat of finish. However if the floor has has floor polish or some kind of contaminates in the finish it could cause a reaction with the finish, leaving the whole floor to be sanded down to raw wood to avoid such reaction.

Bona System

However, Red Desert Wood Flooring offers the Bona System which is the only guaranteed system on the market.

The Bona System starts by spreading a substance called Bona remover on the floor. After the substance is on the floor, we scrub the floor using a floor buffer with a stiff bristled brush. This helps breaks up the contaminants and abrades the floor. After scrubbing,we use the Bona Power Scrubber with a rinse agent. The Power Scrubber sprays the rinse agent on the floor and scrubs the floor with counter rotating brushes and then extracts the contaminates. Then we go over the floor with Bona Traffic which is a extremely durable water based finish it has very low voc's and does not yellow over time. This system is completely dust free, and has very little odor.
